A gorgeous 1930’s Bearkin teddy bear

the small 20cm, fully jointed, Bearkin bears were sold at
FAO Schwarz – USA
in quite a few variations:
different mohair colours (tipped, dark brown, orange or white)
wearing an outfit and
even with a suitcase full of teddy bear outfits and accessories
Bearkins have the most endearing facial expressions
this Bearkin has “sleepy eyes”
due to felt eye lids on the lower part of the eye
a very unusual variation
the outfit he is wearing is not original, but suits him well
Bearkin is made from orange tipped mohair
which faded in places
he has very little overall hair loss
95% still present
original floss nose and red stitched mouth and tongue
very typical for Crämer bears
felt paw and foot pads also are original
with just one tiny hole in his left foot
his ears, snout and top of feet are made from short tan mohair
original glass eyes and felt lids
a hard to find 1930’s Cramer Bearkin teddy bear!
