Two very rare Schuco “Sandy” velvet characters
farmer 15cm and donkey 13cm
with great airbrushed facial markings
farmer’s shirt is repaired at the back
donkey has felt ears (damaged), black mohair mane
cord tail attached to cap
grey velvet in very good condition,
with a few stains due to age and playwear
Sandy characters were a 1932 Schuco novelty
filled with sand
cap can be opened to re-fill or spill sand
giving them an individual look
A hard to find couple!
