This charming 1920’s German teddy bear
joined my collection as antique Bing long time ago
he is 48cm (19″) tall and made of
long pile brass coloured mohair
approx. 80% still present
his original felt paw and foot pads have holes
exposing the excelsior stuffing
one paw has a repair patch
he has the Bing typical features;
~seams at the back of his legs
~original dark floss nose and mouth
~shaped legs and four stitched claws
~big back painted glass eyes
there is a non-working voice box in his tummy
teddy is fully jointed
a very expressive and handsome old chap!
